Together for Food Safety

From May 20 to 21, 2024, the fourth seminar on foreign object management, jointly organized by "Together for Food Safety" and Haidilao, successfully concluded in Beijing.

The purpose of this meeting is to further enhance Haidilao's suppliers' awareness and management capabilities regarding foreign object issues, ensure food safety, and further protect consumers' health and rights.

As one of Haidilao's suppliers, Mr. Tian Guanwu, Technical Manager of Rentokil Initial North China Region, was invited to participate in the seminar and conducted foreign object management training. The entire training focused on the core issue of foreign object management, aiming to further strengthen the food safety management system and improve the overall prevention and control level of the industry.

Professor Tian Guanwu explored the importance of pest control for food safety, emphasized the challenges faced by traditional pest management, and introduced the application of digital technology in pest control.

Teacher Tian Guanwu also shared common pest control methods and environmentally friendly pest control solutions, providing practical solutions for the participants.

Finally, Professor Tian Guanwu emphasized the importance of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Pest control is a prerequisite for food safety, and cultivating good awareness and habits can avoid many pest problems.
