Safety, health and the environment will always be our first priority and there can be no compromise on this.

Our colleagues are at the heart of our plan to enable THE RIGHT PEOPLE to do THE RIGHT THINGS in THE RIGHT WAY. Health and safety is embedded in this plan and is the first item on our Colleague and Customer Promises; the framework for the culture of our company.

We developed a number of policies, which aim to give substantial Health & Safety benefits to our employees and customers. The introduction and commitment to such policies are a significant contribution to the constant improvement in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Protection in our organisation.

By adopting the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Principles, we have implemented the following requirements:

Internal SHE audit is an integral part of the company culture, in line with legal requirements, that is implemented and maintained by each employee.

Golden Rules

At Rentokil Initial, the most important thing is ensuring that "everyone gets home safe after work." Our colleagues, families, and customers are all bound by this commitment. Health and safety will always be our top priority. To achieve this, the operations management team will take various measures to protect employees, one of which includes these guiding principles—the Golden Rules. These rules clearly outline everything we must know and do to ensure the safety of individuals and clients on-site. They have been developed based on the risks and lessons learned from our daily work experiences.

Zero Tolerance Policy

All Rentokil Initial employees regardless of position and ranking are advocated to instill Zero Tolerance policy by adopting safe working practices. This is established to minimise the occurrence of work accidents and ensure employees work in a safe environment.

Safety Day

Safety Day is an annual on-going effort in promoting Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) awareness and instill safe working mannerism in all employees.

As a supplier  to Rentokil Initial, you are an integral part of our brand. The quality of goods and services you provide helps us maintain our brand image and enhance our reputation. We have chosen you as a supplier because we believe that your business practices and standards of integrity align with our expectations. We expect you to uphold these standards in all interactions with Rentokil Initial employees, customers, and shareholders.

These standards are at the core of our plan to drive profitable growth through high-quality customer service and operational excellence. The Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the way we expect suppliers to engage with us and aligns with our business principles as well as the internal operations of the supplier company and its interactions with its own suppliers.

In most cases, the nature of our business relationship means that your contract will outline in more detail the obligations, processes, and policies related to areas covered by the Supplier Code of Conduct. The Supplier Code of Conduct is intended to supplement such contractual provisions, not replace them. You are responsible for ensuring that your employees, directors, executives, suppliers, and subcontractors are aware of and comply with Rentokil Initial's Supplier Code of Conduct.
